Indoor Dog Houses & Dog Crate Furniture

A dog crate doesn't have to look like a cage. Every Lotus Dog House is designed to sit in your living room like a piece of furniture: clean lines, a flat top you can use as a side table, and a cushion included in every order.

Our indoor dog houses are made from engineered wood (MDF) with a wood-grain or painted finish that wipes clean, and they arrive flat-packed with everything you need. Most customers assemble theirs in about 15 minutes.

Choose from modern, classic and futuristic designs in white, walnut and gray, in sizes for small, medium and large dogs. Every order ships free with tracking to the US, Canada and the UK, and you can return it within 14 days of delivery.

Buying guide & frequently asked questions

How to choose an indoor dog house

Size first. Measure your dog lying down, from the front paws to the hindquarters, and add about 15 cm (6 in). Your dog should be able to stand, turn and lie flat inside. Between sizes, or still a puppy? Pick the larger one. Our size guide lists the exterior dimensions and dog weights for every model.

Door or no door. Models with a clear acrylic door and an external steel latch work as a closed crate at night and an open den by day. Doorless designs such as the Modern Doorless suit dogs that are already crate-free.

Finish. White blends into bright and Scandinavian rooms, walnut warms up wood-heavy interiors, and dark gray hides paw marks best. Every finish is a non-toxic, wipe-clean coating on engineered wood.

Frequently asked questions

What is an indoor dog house?

An indoor dog house is a dog crate built to look like furniture, so it can stay in a living room or bedroom instead of a laundry room. Ours have solid wood-grain or painted panels, ventilation slots and a machine-washable cushion.

Which size do I need for a Labrador or a French Bulldog?

An adult Labrador of 25–35 kg usually fits size L (about 78 × 86 × 69 cm); a French Bulldog of 10–14 kg fits size M. Each product page has a breed table, and you can email us your dog's breed and weight to confirm before ordering.

Do your indoor dog houses have a locking door?

Most models have a clear, shatter-resistant acrylic door with a steel latch that opens only from the outside. Look for the Mid, BCL, Master, Cocy and Triangle ranges; doorless models are marked as such.

Is assembly difficult?

No. Panels arrive flat-packed with pre-drilled holes, screws and illustrated instructions; most owners finish in about 15 minutes with a screwdriver.

Where do you ship and how long does it take?

Each house is made to order and ships in 1–4 business days. Tracked shipping is free to the US, Canada and the UK, and available to 17 more countries. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.
